Frequently Asked Questions

What is the process after requesting services from Blue Iris?

Depending on which service you require once we have received your referral form we will contact you to make a time to meet with you to discuss your requirements in detail. Once we both agree that we are a good fit we will then organise a Service Agreement and if applicable we will then commence recruitment (if we don't already have available suitable staff) training of staff, support plans and sourcing housing if applicable.

How long until I can start receiving services from Blue Iris?

We understand that usually when you are requesting a service that you need it to commence asap rather than in 6 months time. For this reason we will start working on everything that we need to do as soon as you let us know that you wish to proceed with us. As a rule of thumb our services can usually commence anywhere from 1 week to 1 month after a referral is received.

I am not a health professional so can I still send through a referral for myself or somebody else?

Yes you definitely can. We accept referrals from Health care providers, Support Coordinators, Guardians, Parents and Individuals wishing to enquire about services for themselves. If you wish to send us a referral click here
